Read-a-Thon Fundraiser Info.

Read-a-Thon Fundraiser

This year at Ready the staff is hosting a Read-a-Thon with the hope that this will become our main fundraiser over the next two years in an effort to raise money for classroom libraries.  The best part about a Read-a-Thon is that 100% of the money collected goes directly to OUR school for OUR students.  In order to provide a literacy environment for our students that reflects today’s best practices, we need to raise in excess of $500 for EACH classroom.  That means that we will be setting our target goal of $20 000 (over two years).  If each student at Ready were to raise $20 each year, we would meet our goal!  We can do this BUT we need your help!  All students and families are strongly encouraged to participate in order to make this a fun and rewarding fundraiser for our school.  Please read this packet carefully and note important dates and deadlines.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through email at: or by calling the school at: 306-791-8471.

Are you ready to READ, LEAD, and SUCCEED?

Let’s make it happen!

Mrs. Balkwill

*A Read-a-Thon packet has been sent home with students*

*The packet is also available in the School News Section on the left*

Ask your child about the great incentives that will be coming their way as we raise money!

Name Your New School

Name Your New School !

Regina Public Schools will be opening three new joint schools in 2017.

The schools will be in Harbour Landing, in Greens on Gardiner and in Rosewood Park.

They are your schools and we need your help to name them.

Historically, schools have been named after an important educators or citizens;

they have also been named after important events or places.

The key requirement is that the name is relevant to education,

meaningful to the Regina community the school will serve,

and must honour or reflect the spirit of the

Regina Public Schools Shared Values: I Belong, I Want to Know, I Am Responsible, and I Respect.
