W.S. Hawrylak School hosted the southeast Battle of the Books final tournament on April 21st . Prior to this event, a south final and east final were held to determine who would advance. A total of 20 teams were vying for one of the eight spots in the southeast final. Partcipants included teams from Argyle, Davin, W.S. Hawrylak, Wilfred Hunt, Lakeview, Jack MacKenzie, Massey, Ethel Milliken, W.F. Ready, and Wilfrid Walker Schools. Students began their preparaton for this contest many months ago and competed for the opportunity to progress to the southeast final. Competiton was fierce and resulted in a three‐way tie for first place after the regular round of questons. All teams represented their schools with outstanding enthusiasm and an impressive level of knowledge.    Congratulatons W.F. Ready (second place) - earning trophies after an incredibly hard fought battle. Way to go!
