The SLC (Student Leadership Council) is having some Spooktacular events for the students of W.F. Ready for the week of October 26th-31st.
Our school will be supporting the United Way this fall. We started off with Giving Back Hat Day on October 6th $1.00 to wear your hat. The next event is a $2.00 donation to the Spooktacular Halloween Dance on October 31st.
Wednesday, October 26th -28th Kindergarten to Grade 4 will be having a colouring contest. On Tuesday Oct 25th, the colouring contest sheet will be coming home. If your child chooses to participate have them return it to the office by Friday October 28th. They will put their picture in their grade basket.
Wednesday, October 26th -28th Grade 5-8 Pumpkin Decorating/Carving Contest. Bring your pumpkin on Wednesday Oct 26th -28th. You can bring your pumpkin any of these 3 days. Put your pumpkin in the front foyer on your grades table. Make sure your pumpkin is labeled with your name, title, grade, and your teacher’s name.
Monday, October 31st is our Halloween Spooktacular Dance in the afternoon with costumes! There will be a canteen at noon for K-8’s to by treats that day. The dance for Grades K-4 is at 12:45-2:00 P.M. and 5-8 at 2:00-3:30 P.M. We are asking for a $2.00 donation for the United Way.
